CHRIS NICKLES
VOTED “Class Clown” OF BBCHS ~ CLASS OF ’89. While his accomplishments of note pretty much end there, Chris has been making air waves since 1990. He arrived at River Country in 2002, where he quickly rose to the top…of the morning…as River Country’s first morning host. He later settled into his current position on Middays and host of “Nick’s Diner.”
Born and raised in Bourbonnais and living in Vegas, at least in his mind, Chris feels fortunate to work in radio. “I’m very lucky to be doing the job I’m doing. I try to think about that every day.” If you think Chris Nickles is a complicated individual, consider this: When asked to share something unique about himself, he simply replied, “I love long walks on the beach and poking dead things with a stick.”

Hi everybody it's me! As I write this, it's just after 4:00 and I'm itchin' to start my weekend! It's been a very busy week around the old radio station and I think it's just going to keep getting busier!
I'm still dealing with my bank. It's been one big headache! Hang on to all your financial information, you never know who is going to find it. I'm learning someone overseas somehow got my debit card number and racked up some charges. The good news is I wont be responsible for it!
Anyway, thanks for listening to River Country and visiting us here online!
