CHRIS NICKLES
VOTED “Class Clown” OF BBCHS ~ CLASS OF ’89. While his accomplishments of note pretty much end there, Chris has been making air waves since 1990. He arrived at River Country in 2002, where he quickly rose to the top…of the morning…as River Country’s first morning host. He later settled into his current position on Middays and host of “Nick’s Diner.”

Born and raised in Bourbonnais and living in Vegas, at least in his mind, Chris feels fortunate to work in radio.  “I’m very lucky to be doing the job I’m doing.  I try to think about that every day.”  If you think Chris Nickles is a complicated individual, consider this: When asked to share something unique about himself, he simply replied, “I love long walks on the beach and poking dead things with a stick.”
